Our Manual Metallographic Mounting Machine is a compact solution designed to address the challenges of holding irregular and small samples. It operates independently from air sources and complex circuits, generating pressures of up to 2 tons through simple manual screw compression. With a wide adjustable heating temperature range of 50 to 180°C, it effectively handles various thermosetting materials for encapsulation. Its compact size and strong adaptability to different environments make it a common choice for small laboratories as well as ideal for field sampling or mobile sample preparation stations. Despite being manually operated, it delivers efficiency and quality comparable to automated solutions. The machine features a dual-mode chamber design, enabling simultaneous processing of two samples, with a cycle time kept under 15 minutes. Thanks to its stable pressure application, the resulting embedded blocks are dense and free from bubbles or cracks, ensuring that the sample edges receive excellent support during subsequent grinding and polishing.
